<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digester having a bottom part temperature holding structure which has high intensity and does not particularly require maintenance.SOLUTION: A digester 100 comprises: a digester body 1 made of a steel plate; and a heating device 3 for heating sludge put into the digester body 1. A heat insulation structural body 5 is provided in a concrete foundation 20 below the digester body 1. The heat insulation structural body 5 is formed of: plural short pipes 6 (support materials) for supporting load of the sludge; and a polystyrene foam s filled between the short pipes 6 and inside spaces of the short pipes 6.</p> |
