The screw elements have screw shafts acting in pairs in a similar direction and performing scraping actions in pairs. Two or more screw gears are provided, where the screw elements are represented by a screw profile in an entire cross-section by a continuously differentiable curve profile. An independent claim is included for a method for production of screw elements.
