Provided are a successive-cancellation polar code decoder having high throughput and low complexity, and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the successive-cancellation polar decoder comprises: a primary frame operation unit for performing a successive-cancellation algorithm in a merging processing operation unit based on one′s complement scheme to optimize the number of quantization bits; and a feedback operation unit for performing an operation with respect to a partial sum needed to decode by using one D flip-flop having a feedback while using a control signal. |
