FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: arc-type furnace has system for iron-rich pellets loading through tubular electrodes, and PC system to control melting process, equipped with having the possibility to supply signals to microcomputer scrap weight sensor, bulk materials weight sensor, iron-rich pellets weight sensor, active power consumption sensor, power consumption sensor, metal temperature monitoring system, current and voltage sensors, programmable unit to calculate parameters of iron-rich pellets melting, at that the microcontroller is made with possibility to supply signal to the actuator of the iron-rich pellets loading system.EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the iron-rich pellets melting in bath of the arc-type furnace due to the pellets supply to high temperature zone in near electrode space of the arc-type furnace under controlled mode using PC system of the steel making unit.3 cl, 2 dwg |
