<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detector which can surely detect a target without imposing a burden for processing. <P>SOLUTION: A LADAR sensor 101 acquires distance information for each pixel. The target detector calculates a distance difference between adjacent pixels acquired by the LADAR sensor 101 and detects a part where the distance between adjacent pixels abruptly changes to determine an object. The target detector detects a target object by comparing the determined object with a target shape template. The target shape template has actual size information and the target detector converts the actual size information of the target shape template into pixel number information on the basis of the distance information from the LADAR sensor 101 and detects the target object by comparing the pixel number of the determined object with the converted pixel number of the target shape template. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
