<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a useless consumption of batteries by performing feeding from all of the batteries only when a high voltage is necessary. <P>SOLUTION: A label creation device 1 includes a battery storage part 27 to store a plurality of batteries B1-B6, and is operable by the plurality of batteries B1-B6. The label creation device 1 includes a high voltage drive mechanism including at least one of a thermal head 22 to perform printing on a tape 12 and a drive motor 53 to supply a driving force to convey the tape 12. The plurality of batteries are divided into two groups BG1 and BG2 each having three batteries. Feeding is performed by using all of the batteries B1-B6 that belong to the two groups in a first state that the high voltage drive mechanism is operated, and the feeding is performed by using the batteries B1-B3 or B4-B6 that belong to the group BG1 or BG2 in a second state that the high voltage drive mechanism is not operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
