<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for treating arsenic contaminated water that can satisfactorily clean heavy metal contaminated water while reducing material cost. <P>SOLUTION: The arsenic contaminated water treatment method for purifying arsenic contaminated water includes passing arsenic contaminated water through a mixture of iron and consolidated clay.
