The present disclosure relates to implantable medical devices which include at least one mesh and at least one film attached to the mesh along different portions of the mesh creating at least one aperture between the mesh and the film.

1. An implantable medical device comprising:
a mesh, a first film having a first, second, and third portion, wherein the first portion of the first film is attached to a first portion of the mesh, the second portion of the first film is attached to a second portion of the mesh, and the third portion of the first film extends between the first and second portions of the first film and is unattached to the mesh, and a second film having a first, second, and third portion, wherein the first portion of the second film is attached to a third portion of the mesh, the second portion of the second film is attached to a fourth portion of the mesh, and the third portion of the second film extends between the first and second portions of the second film and is unattached to the mesh, wherein the third portion of the first film and the third portion of the second film overlap.
