<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent for bottom-pouring ingot making preventing generation of a pinhole in a steel ingot and suppressing formation of a surface flaw on the surface of the steel ingot based on a short flaw generated in a deep position of the steel ingot in casting the steel ingot by bottom-pouring. <P>SOLUTION: The steel ingot is manufactured by using the coating agent 9 for bottom-pouring including one kind or two kinds or more of an oxide-based compound and a fluoride-based compound of Si, Al, Ca, Mg, Na, Li and free-carbon in which free-carbon content is 1-6%, viscosity at 1,300°C is 0.4-2.0 Pa s, and solidification temperature is 1,000-1,200°C, sealing molten steel 11 from a ladle 1 by a seal gas in a seal section 2, and bottom-pouring the molten steel 11 to a mold 6 through a runner 4 for casting as shown in Fig.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
