1. A donor film for use in effecting thermal imaging on an imaging substrate, the donor film comprising:
a base layer; a first light-to-heat conversion layer on the base layer; and a second light-to-heat conversion layer on the first light-to-heat conversion layer, the second light-to-heat conversion layer including an organic material for depositing on the imaging substrate, wherein the first light-to-heat conversion layer transmits light having a wavelength that is absorbed by the second light-to-heat conversion layer.
