FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: method includes obtaining Raman and fluorescence spectra of a substance, dividing said spectra into Raman scattering and fluorescence components, analysing the Raman scattering and fluorescence components and identifying the substance using spectral processing techniques. Fluorescence is excited using UV LEDs and Raman scattering is excited using radiation of a laser source. As the recording device a static Fourier spectrometer is used, which forms a two-dimensional spectrum from a fringe pattern, which is recorded and stored in digital form. The resultant fringe pattern is converted into the resultant spectrum via fast Fourier transform. A final decision on detection and identification of substances is made based on the results of comparing the spectrum with a spectral database.EFFECT: high sensitivity and smaller size of the device.4 cl, 8 dwg |
