A method for determining the concentration of circulating extracellular domain of the insulin-responsive aminopeptidase (IRAP) protein in the blood of a mammal subject, comprising conducting an in vitro immunoassay on a serum or plasma sample from said subject, utilizing an antibody that is selected from the group consisting of:
the monoclonal antibody secreted by the hybridoma deposited at the Collection Nationale de Culture de Microorganismes (CNCM) under accession number I-4181; the monoclonal antibody secreted by the hybridoma deposited at the CNCM under accession number I-4182; the monoclonal antibody secreted by the hybridoma deposited at the CNCM under accession number I-4183; the monoclonal antibody secreted by the hybridoma deposited at the CNCM under accession number I-4184; and the monoclonal antibody secreted by the hybridoma deposited at the CNCM under accession number I-4185.
