The present invention relates to a flexible display apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of reducing stress in a bending process. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is the flexible display apparatus which includes a flexible substrate, a protection film which is arranged on one side of the flexible substrate, and an adhesive layer which is interposed between the flexible substrate and the protection film and is arranged to have a plurality of patterns.
