<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of performing flushing operation without moving an injection head and positively recovering liquid injected by flushing. <P>SOLUTION: The speed of liquid (charged liquid) injected from the injection head by potential difference generated between the injection head and an injecting medium is reduced, and the liquid reduced in speed is sucked by a liquid suction means. By doing so, the liquid injected by flushing operation can be recovered, so that there is no risk of contamination caused by the liquid being adhered on the injecting medium. Further, the liquid injected by the flushing operation can be recovered, so that there is no need of moving the injection head to another position for the flushing operation. As a result, positional deviation accompanying movement of the injection head is not caused, so that the ink can be injected to the same position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
