The present invention relates to a heat resistant insulating EPDM composition for a cooling hose of a vehicle, and a cooling hose using the composition. The cooling hose for a vehicle is formed by using: an EPDM composition containing 100 parts by weight of EPDM, and 78 parts by weight of carbon black, 27 parts by weight of mixed silica, 32 parts by weight of paraffin-based plasticizer, 5 parts by weight of zinc oxide, 1.6 parts by weight of processing material, 0.6 parts by weight of activator, 8 parts by weight of curing agent, and 3 parts by weight of vulcanizing agent for the EPDM; and a layered aramid yarn for the EPDM composition as an enhancement member, thereby manufacturing the cooling hose for a vehicle having high performance and high quality by improving high temperature heat resistance and insulating properties. |
