PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix for mass analysis capable of detecting gaseous aldehyde.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a matrix for mass analysis for detecting gaseous aldehyde containing at least one compound selected from a group of an aromatic hydrazine compound, an aromatic hydrazide compound, an aromatic hydrazine compound, and a hetero aromatic hydrazide compound or its salt. The gaseous aldehyde means aldehyde of a boiling point of 50°C or less. Specifically, the gaseous aldehyde means formaldehyde (boiling point is -19.3°C), acetaldehyde (boiling point is 20.2°C), and propionic aldehyde (boiling point is 48°C). |
