The present invention relates to an apparatus for adding an insulation material to a sealing part of a battery case which is bent to face the outer side of an electrode assembly receiving unit. The present invention provides the apparatus which includes a jig in which a recess part with a size corresponding to a battery cell is formed, a sensing unit which senses the shape of a sealing unit when the battery cell is mounted on the jig, an injection part which injects an insulation material between the inner sidewall of the recess part of the jig and the outer side of an electrode assembly receiving unit including the end of the sealing part, and a control unit which controls the injection position of the injection part by collecting information sensed by the sensing unit.
