Disclosed are an eco-friendly foaming agent composition having excellent foaming performance and a method for foaming a resin using the same. The foaming agent composition comprises a hydrazide-based foaming agent and an inorganic foaming agent. The method for foaming the resin comprises a process of mixing the foaming agent composition comprising a hydrazide-based foaming agent and an inorganic foaming agent, with a resin to be foamed, and heating the mixture.
