The second capacitive element 492 has the first electrically-conductive film 408, a second portion of the second electrically-conductive film 411, and the first dielectric film 410. The first electrically-conductive film 408 includes a first surface and a second surface intersecting the first surface, and the first portion is arranged so as to face the first surface, and the second portion is arranged so as to face the second surface. The capacitive element having a large capacitive value is formed in a narrow area to thereby enable an excellent electrooptic device with a display failure suppressed to be attained even when the pixel is downsized with high definition facilitated.
