PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable valve positioner capable of discriminating the state of the core of a displacement sensor and measuring a valve position even when the core is broken.SOLUTION: The feature of a method for discriminating the core state of a displacement sensor is that four cores in two sets are disposed in the displacement sensor with opposing two cores about the rotation shaft of the displacement sensor being one set. The state of the core is discriminated based on four signals generated from each core and notified, and then a valve position is calculated. |
