The present invention relates to an isotropic transparent polyimide-based film having excellent transmittance, high heat resistance, and mechanical properties, and a method for producing the same. The polyimide-based film includes a structure of the chemical formula 1, and has polyimide having a glass transition temperature of 250°C or more. In a film thickness range of 10 to 30 μm, transmittance about light in a wavelength of 380 to 760 nm is 85% or more, and a yellow index (YI) is 8 or less. Modulus is 2 GPa or more, and isotropic properties are exhibited. In the chemical formula 1, X and Y are the same as defined in the specification. |
