The present invention relates to a seat for a theater having a self-returning rotating back and, more specifically, a seat for a theater, which comprises: a pair of fixed legs with an armrest on the top and a fixing cam with a shaft groove formed; a settling unit installed by connecting the fixing legs to allow an audience to sit thereon, which has a rotating shaft for rotating by being inserted into the shaft groove; and a back combined to connect the fixing legs and to rotate. The back comprises: a back main body having a fastening groove on both sides; a fastening bump to be inserted into the fastening groove; and a guiding member with a shaft to be fastened to the fixing legs on one side to be rotated and an operating shaft to be inserted into the fixing legs at the bottom. The fixing legs have an angle controller to fixate the back after rotating at a certain angle. The angle controller comprises: a shock absorber unit combined with the end of the operating shaft by a hinge to rotate, which has a shaft unit with a head having a cock combined with the fixing legs to rotate; an operating bar combined with the head of the shaft unit to rotate and to pressurize the cock; a button unit installed on the fixing legs; and a wire unit installed to connect the button unit and the operating bar. When the audience stands up from the settling unit as the performance is over, the back automatically restores by the settling unit, which is rotating, to reduce labor cost as no manpower is needed for restoring the back and to reduce a time for cleaning and preparing for the next performance. |
