PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to bring a transfer roller into pressure-contact with an inside surface of a transfer belt, while sufficiently preventing wrinkles of a recording material passing through a transfer section.SOLUTION: A first stretching roller 21 stretches a secondary transfer belt 12 in a position which can be reached by a tip in a conveyance direction of a recording material conveyed in a secondary transfer section T2. The first stretching roller 21 includes a crown-shaped outer peripheral surface with a straight area of a constant diameter formed in a central part in a rotation axis direction. A second stretching roller 22 includes an inverted crown-shaped outer peripheral surface with a straight area of a constant diameter formed in a central part in a rotation axis direction. |
