POLARIZER PROTECTION FILM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-sized polarizer protection film which can be easily and stably rewound.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a protection film includes: a step of forming, on a base film, a first coating layer which is different in thickness between a center part and both end parts in a breadthwise direction of the base film and has a width of 3 to 10 mm and a convex shape in both end parts and is continuously formed in a take-up direction of the film and has a thickness 2 to 20 μm greater than that of the center part in both end parts; a step of forming a second coating layer on the first coating layer to obtain a protection film; and a step of rewinding the protection film under a tension of 50 to 1000 N/m.
