PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor element and magnetic sensor capable of keeping a function as a magnetic sensor element even when disconnection of a coil occurs.SOLUTION: The flux gate type magnetic sensor element 30 includes a magnetic core 1 and two coil-like wires 32A and 32B wound on the magnetic core 1. The first coil-like wire 32A is an exciting coil for generating an excitation magnetic field in the magnetic core 1 due to a supplied excitation signal. The second coil-like wire 32B is a detection coil for outputting a detection signal on the basis of the excitation magnetic field generated in the magnetic core 1. The first coil-like wire 32A includes two electrically parallel wires 33 and 34. |
