PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute paper feeding operation reliably without causing paper jam even when a document with high rigidity and a long document are used in a document feeding device 221 that comprises a body case 222 having a paper feed port 222f and a paper discharge port 222g arranged in a vertical direction, and conveyance mechanisms 224a-222f provided inside the body case 222 for guiding a document fed from the paper feed port 222f to the paper discharge port 222g.SOLUTION: A body case 222 comprises a detachable case part 222b in which another paper discharge port 222h different from a paper discharge port 222g is formed. Inside the body case 222, a substantially U-shaped first document conveying path 225a from a paper feed port 222f to the paper discharge port 222g located below the paper feed port 222f, and a substantially linear second document conveying path 225b from the paper feed port 222f to the other paper discharge port 222h are formed. A document feeding device comprises a switching member 230 for switching the conveying path of the document to either one of the first document conveying path 225a and the second document conveying path 225b. |
