PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an astronomic observation dome having a function of supporting an astronomic observation of an observer unfamiliar with the astronomic observation.SOLUTION: An astronomic observation facility is enabled to observe a sky through a slit 5 opened in a dome that rotates for a base by an astronomical telescope 6 installed in a base center of a dome 1, and generates an astronomic or constellation picture that carries out a diurnal motion in synchronization with the diurnal motion of an actual starry sky observed from a dome installation point from a computer so as be projected into a dome inner surface by a video projector. The astronomic observation facility projects an image from the video projector 7 mounted on the opposite surface of the slit of the dome in the slit direction and generates the image by referring also to azimuth angle data of the projection direction of the video projector that changes according to the rotation of the dome. |
