PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of improving productivity of production of a glass article having a conveyance step for conveying a glass intermediate to a molding apparatus, and a molding step for molding the glass article from the glass intermediate by the molding apparatus.SOLUTION: A production method of a glass article has a conveyance step for conveying a preheated and softened glass intermediate G to a molding apparatus, and a molding step for molding the glass article from the glass intermediate G by the molding apparatus. The conveyance step is a step for allowing an adsorption pad 20 to adsorb and convey adsorptively the glass intermediate by sucking the air, and a ceramic adsorption pad is used as the adsorption pad 20.
