Disclosed is a brake master cylinder. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the brake master cylinder comprises: a cylinder body; a first piston and a second piston provided to perform a reciprocating motion inside the cylinder body; and a hall sensor which is installed on the outer side of the cylinder body, and detects the motions of the pistons to control lighting of a brake lamp. The brake master cylinder further comprises: a magnet installed in the first piston; and a fixed member fixated to the cylinder body and having a rotation prevention means to limit the rotation of the first piston. The magnet is installed in a portion of the first piston at a location facing the hall sensor since the rotation of the first piston is limited. |
