PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal blind which can prevent lateral displacement of a slat while retaining light blocking effect of the blind, and which can enhance slat replacement workability and assembling workability.SOLUTION: A horizontal blind 1 includes ladder cords 3A, 3B, slats 4 supported by each ladder cord 3A (3B), lifting cords 5A, 5B, and lateral displacement preventing mechanisms 6A, 6B provided between the ladder cords 3A, 3B and each slat 4. Each mechanism 6A (6B) is composed of two projecting portions 61-1, 62-1 formed on the slat 4, and a weft 34 stretched between the projecting portions 61-1, 62-1. Each projecting portion 61-1 (62-1) is a long projecting portion, and these two projecting portions 61-1, 62-1 are disposed in parallel to face in the width direction of the surface 4A of the slat 4. |
