PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of stably supporting a friction pad by a pad spring.SOLUTION: A pad spring 11 has a guide plate portion 15 mounted while being kept into contact with a pad guide 3 of a mounting member 2, and guiding a friction pad 8 in an axial direction of a disc 1, and a radial energizing portion 19 extended from the guide plate portion 15 and energizing the friction pad 8 in the radial direction of the disc 1. The radial energizing portion 19 has a first extension portion 20 extended from an opposite plate portion 17 of the guide plate portion 15 opposed to a depth-side wall surface 3C of the pad guide 3 in the axial direction of the disc 1, a curl portion 21 extended to a radial inner part of the disc 1 at a tip 20A side of the first extension portion 20 and folded back to be extended in a rotating direction of the disc 1, and a second extension portion 22 extended to a radial outer part of the disc 1 in the direction to approach the disc 1 from a tip 21B1 of the curl portion 21 obliquely to the axial direction of the disc 1, and kept into contact with the friction pad 8. |
