PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which is excellent in shot feeling, a flight distance, and durability.SOLUTION: A golf ball includes a spherical core 4 and at least one cover layer 12 for covering the spherical core 4. The spherical core 4 is formed of a core rubber composition containing (a) a base rubber, (b) a co-cross-linking agent, (c) a cross-linking initiator, and (x) cross-linked rubber powder. The cross-linked rubber powder (x) contains a soft particle (x1) in which a hardness difference (Hs-Hp) between a particle hardness (Hp) and a surface hardness (Hs) of the spherical core 4 is 20 or more in JIS-C hardness, and a hardness difference (Hs5-Hp) between the particle hardness (Hp) and a hardness (Hs5) at a point located 5 mm inside the surface of the spherical core 4 is 15 or more in JIS-C hardness. The core rubber composition contains the soft particle (x1) in the amount of 1.0 mass% or more. |
