PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with even in a case where a frequency interval of an optical fiber radio signal is changed, although wavelength demultiplexing can be performed only in the case where the optical fiber radio signal has predetermined one frequency interval in the prior arts.SOLUTION: The wavelength demultiplexer includes beam splitting means (by which lights inputted from a plurality of input-side light paths are split and outputted to a plurality of output-side optical paths) and an optical path switcher (which is configured to switch the optical path for input to the beam splitting means and in which the switching is performed by operation from the outside). The optical path switcher may also be distributed to a plurality of output terminals regarding one input terminal. The optical path switcher and the beam splitting means are independent of polarization and the input-side optical paths, the output-side optical paths and an optical path between the optical path switcher and the beam splitting means are made into a polarization holding type, such that a relative polarization configuration is made similar between the input light and the output light. Further, the light is inputted from an output side and outputted from an input side, such that a wavelength multiplexed signal may also be obtained. |
