PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interpolation device and an interpolation method capable of processing data given to each lattice point while interpolating data between each lattice point.SOLUTION: An interpolation device (20) interpolates a correction value between each lattice point relative to a correction value that is given to each of a number of lattice points arranged in the direction of a horizontal scan line and should be treated according to the order of these lattice points. The interpolation device (20) includes a second interpolation section (22) configured to perform interpolation between first lattice points using an interpolation formula set therefor and a first interpolation section (21) configured to set the interpolation formula between second lattice points whose order is after the first lattice points during a period when interpolation between first lattice points is performed. |
