PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field generator capable of suppressing an increase in the scale of a configuration, changing a frequency of a magnetic field to be generated, generating a frequency changeable magnetic field, and surely preventing a fraudulent acquisition of magnetic data with high reliability, a magnetic recording medium processing device, and a control method of the magnetic recording medium processing device.SOLUTION: A magnetic field generator includes: a resonance section 511 that includes a resonance circuit in which an inductor L51 and a capacitor C51 are connected between a first node ND52 and a second node ND53, receives a drive voltage at the first node, and generates a magnetic field by resonating at a frequency set in a state where the second node is connected to a reference potential part; and a frequency change section 53 capable of changing a resonance frequency of the resonance section. |
