PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained-release antibacterial agent continuing the sustained release of an antibacterial agent without being effected by an aluminum hydroxide gel to suppress the generation of slime, and not promoting the corrosion of an aluminum fin.SOLUTION: The sustained-release antibacterial agent includes: an antibacterial agent; and at least one kind selected from magnesium hydroxide and a water-insoluble chelating agent. In this sustained-release antibacterial agent, the whole of the surface is not covered with an aluminum hydroxide gel, and the sustained release of the antibacterial agent continues. It is preferable that the addition amount of at least one kind selected from the magnesium hydroxide and the water-insoluble chelating agent is the one at which the pH of the water in contact with the solidified sustained-release antibacterial agent reaches 11 or lower. |
