PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical deflector that allows a simple configuration to reduce a moment of inertia, and to shorten a rising time.SOLUTION: A scanner motor 1 comprises a rotation polygon mirror 3 that deflects laser light L emitted from a light source device 201; a rotor yoke 7 that integrally rotates with the rotation polygon mirror 3; a rotor magnet 6 that is held by the rotor yoke 7; and a drive unit that is provided with a stator coil 9 facing the rotor magnet 6, in which the rotor yoke 7 is configured to have at lest two or more through-holes 11 at a location different from a rotation center.
