PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation measuring device which eliminates the need of radiation control and allows soundness to be always confirmed.SOLUTION: A radiation measuring device comprises: a conductive measuring housing 10 which is used for measuring the radiation dose of an installation site and filled with inactive gas therein; a conductive supplementary housing 11 which is joined with the measuring housing 10 via an insulator 3, has a radiation source and is filled with inactive gas therein for measuring the radiation dose; a conductive core wire 1 whose one end is electrically insulated and other end is connected to a high voltage power source, and which is arranged in the measuring housing 10 and the supplementary housing 11; a measuring current measuring instrument for measuring a current between the core wire 1 and the measuring housing 10 at the time of application of the core wire 1; and a supplementary current measuring instrument for measuring a current between the core wire 1 and the supplementary housing 11 at the time of application of the core wire 1. The radiation measuring device confirms soundness on the basis of the measuring result in the supplementary current measuring instrument. |
