PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel drive system for an aircraft, which can properly achieve both taxing and prerotation by rotating wheels with use of a common motor.SOLUTION: A wheel drive system for an aircraft comprises: a motor 2 which is connected to wheels 12 and has two voltage supply lines L1, L2 for supplying voltages Vta, Vpr while differentiating the lengths of windings to be energized; an inverter 3 for taxing and an inverter 4 for prerotation, which supply the voltages Vta, Vpr to the two voltage supply lines L1, L2; and a control part 8 for controlling the inverter 3 for taxing and the inverter 4 for prerotation. The control part 8 is configured to select either one of the two voltage supply lines L1, L2 and supply the voltage Vta or Vpr by controlling the inverter 3 for taxing and the inverter 4 for prerotation. |
