PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating water containing low molecular weight organic matter which secures sufficient removal of low molecular matter without conducting a biological treatment.SOLUTION: A method of treating water containing low molecular organic matter comprises passing raw water which contains 0.5 mgC/L or more low molecular weight organic materials of a molecular weight of 200 or smaller through a high-pressure type reverse osmosis membrane separator for treatment, and the brine water amount of the terminal reverse osmosis membrane module 5a at the last state in the high-pressure type reverse osmosis membrane separator is set to be 2.1 m/(mD) or greater. |
