PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element, optical element array and solid state imaging device that have an optimum reflection preventive structure.SOLUTION: An optical element comprises: a convex lens 101 whose surface is composed of a planar surface 121 and a convex surface 122; and a reflection preventive structure that covers the convex surface 122. An orthographic projection 106 to the planar surface 121 of a vertex 104 of the convex surface 122 is present at a location deviated from a middle point of a line segment connecting a boundary between then planar surface 121 and the convex surface 122, and in the reflection preventive structure, included are a first reflection preventive structure 111 on a first end 102 side located closer to the orthographic projection 106 than the vertex 104 and the middle point of two end points of the line segment 105, and a second reflection preventive structure 112 on a second end 103 side located closer to the middle point than the vertex 104 and an orthographic projection 104 of two end points of the line segment 105. Light transmittance of the second reflection preventive structure 112 is higher than that of the first reflection preventive structure 111. |
