PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system configured to secure confidentiality of an output printed matter, while reducing time and effort of user operation in confidential printing.SOLUTION: A printing system includes an image forming apparatus, and a plurality of information processing apparatuses for transmitting print data to the image forming apparatus. When the information processing apparatus transmits print data with standby time which indicates the time until the start of printing in the image forming apparatus, the image forming apparatus starts printing the print data after the standby time elapses, and prohibits the other print data from being printed until the start of printing the print data with the standby time.
