PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire discharge machine capable of facilitating the setting of a correction value with respect to a thermal displacement suitable for temperature environment every machine by performing measurement in the same conditions as working by using actual temperature environment for performing the working and an actual machine.SOLUTION: A wire position is detected at a standard temperature (S102), temperatures of a machine and working liquid are measured (S103, S104), standard position and standard temperature are stored (S105, S106), standard position and standard temperature are stored at a temperature different from the standard temperature (S112, S113), a correction amount is calculated in accordance with a measurement result on the basis of positional information of S105 and S112 (S116), a temperature change amount is calculated based on temperature information of S106 and S113 (S118), correction amounts of upper and lower nozzle parts are determined by substituting the temperature change amount into a correction amount calculation relation (119), a correction amount adjustment value is calculated in accordance with the correction amount determined on S116 and S119 (S120) and the correction amount calculation relation is adjusted and set by using the correction amount adjustment value (S121). |
