PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost of an end cap for a linear motion guide device provided with a recessed portion having a groove on a wall face and opened only at a top face, on a top face of a trunk portion.SOLUTION: A recessed portion 223 having an U-shaped planar shape, is formed on a top face of a trunk portion 222 of an end cap 22. An oil supply port 224 is formed on a bottom face 223 of the recessed portion 223. A groove 226 having the circular arc-shaped cross-section is formed on a wall face of the recessed portion 223. A closing member 3 is disposed at an opening side of the U-shape of the recessed portion 223 to close the opening of the U-shape. The closing member 3 has a projecting portion 32 fitted to a linear part 226b formed by two straight line portions 223b configuring the U-shape of the recessed portion 223 of the groove 226. By fitting the projecting portion 32 of the closing member 3 and the linear part 226b of the groove, the closing member 3 is disposed in the recessed portion, and only the top face of the recessed portion 223 is opened. |
