PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly operate an outside handle to both open and close a vehicle door through an opening/closing operation device for vehicle door.SOLUTION: Operation force transmission paths R1, R2 capable of transmitting an outside handle operation OP1 to a fully opened door latch device 1 and closed door latch devices 2, 3 through mechanical elements are provided with operation switching means 6, 7 for: enabling the outside handle operation OP1 to be transmitted to the closed door latch devices 2, 3 and also disabling the outside handle operation OP1 to be transmitted to the fully opened door latch device 1 through free rotation when a slide door D is at a closed position; and, when a slide door D is at a fully opened position, enabling the outside handle operation OP1 to be transmitted to the fully opened door latch device 1 and also disabling the outside handle operation OP1 to be transmitted to the fully closed door latch devices 2, 3 through free rotation. |
