PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of preventing negative pressure inside an air circulation chamber located below a guide member from increasing excessively.SOLUTION: A conveying device is provided in a recording device so as to face recording heads 341-344. The conveying device comprises a suction part for sucking a recording medium through a conveyor belt. The suction part includes a guide member 332 and an air circulation chamber. In the guide member 332, a plurality of through holes 335 communicating with the air circulation chamber are formed. Each of the through holes 335 is provided inside a groove 334 formed on a surface 333 of the guide member 332. Also, in the guide member 332, an escape air passage 337 communicating with at least a part of the groove 334 is formed, and the escape air passage 337 includes a recess 337a formed on the surface 333 of the guide member 332 on the outside of a region 339 where the groove 334 is disposed.
