The present invention relates to a device and method for detecting signature. According to the present invention, the device comprises: a matching unit for receiving two or more verified sample files, and matching whether a signature of each of the sample files corresponds to signatures stored in a database; a setting unit for setting a comparison section in each of the sample files by using an average value of the signatures stored in the database, when each of signatures of the sample files does not correspond to any one of the signatures stored in the database; and a detecting unit for detecting a sample signature including a corresponding bite value by comparing each of the comparison section of the sample files. Accordingly, the device and method according to the present invention may be used in inspecting validity of the digital files. |
