The present invention relates to an ice and snow removal apparatus for a power line, which is capable of removing congealed ice and snow piled on a power line in winter. The ice and snow removal apparatus for a power line includes: a body which includes through holes through which the power line passes on one end and the other end thereof; an upper roller member which is rotationally installed on the upper inner side of the body to compress the power line from the upper side thereof; a lower roller member which is rotationally installed on the lower inner side of the body to compress the power line from the lower side thereof; a motor part which is formed inside the body, and supplies power so that the upper and lower roller members can perform rotary motions; and an ice and snow removal member which is formed on the outer side of the through hole, and removes ice coated on the surface of the power line. |
