摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device that can reduce power consumption of a monitoring processing unit and a control processing unit for monitoring and controlling the state of a battery, and properly detect an abnormality of the battery to deal with the abnormality.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device having each monitoring processing unit 21 of each battery monitoring unit 20 for achieving information of the state of each battery of a battery module 30, and a control processing unit 11 of a battery controlling unit 10 for dealing with an abnormality of the batteries. The control processing unit 11 sets each monitoring processing unit 21 and itself to a low power consumption mode when the power supply amount of each battery is small. The monitoring processing unit 21 detects that an input voltage at an interrupting input terminal of itself varies due to occurrence of an abnormality of a battery monitored by the battery monitoring unit 20 of itself, restores itself to a normal operation mode, and transmits to the control processing unit 11 a signal for restoring the control processing unit 11 to the normal operation mode. When the control processing unit 11 is restored to the normal operation mode, the control processing unit 11 restores all the other monitoring processing units 21 to the normal operation mode and monitor the respective batteries.
