PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a roll plate, by which a concavo-convex pattern with high accuracy can be formed in a process of manufacturing an optical member having a concavo-convex pattern.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a roll plate 20 for an optical member is carried out by winding a die sheet 22 on a roll 21. A concavo-convex pattern corresponding to a concavo-convex pattern 13 to be included in an optical member 10 is disposed on a surface of the die sheet. The die sheet is manufactured through steps of: exposing a resist layer of a laminate 33 for manufacturing a die sheet, which comprises a substrate 30 and a resist layer 32, based on the concavo-convex pattern, and removing the resist layer in an exposed portion or in an unexposed portion; depositing an electroless plating layer 35 by electroforming on a surface at the resist layer side of the laminate for manufacturing a die sheet without etching; depositing an electroplating layer 36 on the electroless plating layer; and removing the laminate for manufacturing a die sheet. |
